Basics

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be at least 21 to travel out of state
  • Must be at least 21 to transport hazardous materials and passengers
  • Acquire a CLP
  • Pass vision test
  • Distinguish colors found on traffic signals
  • Should be able to perceive a forced whisper at a distance of at least 5 feet

Documents

  • One document verifying age and identity
  • A social security card
  • For U.S citizens two documents providing residency
  • For non-US citizens one document issued by the U.S government indicating the legal presence  
  • Proof of clear driving record (license not suspended, disqualified, or revoked and not hold more than one driver license)
