Basics
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be at least 21 to travel out of state
- Must be at least 21 to transport hazardous materials and passengers
- Acquire a CLP
- Pass vision test
- Distinguish colors found on traffic signals
- Should be able to perceive a forced whisper at a distance of at least 5 feet
Documents
- One document verifying age and identity
- A social security card
- For U.S citizens two documents providing residency
- For non-US citizens one document issued by the U.S government indicating the legal presence
- Proof of clear driving record (license not suspended, disqualified, or revoked and not hold more than one driver license)
