Basics
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be at least 21 to travel out of state
- Must be at least 21 to transport hazardous materials and passengers
- Have 20/40 vision without glasses
- Recognize red, green, and amber colors
Documents
- Must have a New Jersey driver’s license
- Have a medical and background check
- Provide Social Security card
- Provide at least 1 primary ID
- Provide at least 1 secondary ID
