Basics
- Must be at least 18 to apply for an intrastate CDL
- Must be at least 21 to travel out of state
- Must be at least 21 to transport hazardous materials
Documents
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
- Provide Social Security card
- Provide a legible medical certificate
- Complete the Application for Commercial Driver’s License
- Must self-certify through the DMV website
