Basics
- Be at least 18
Documents
- Have a valid driver’s license (does not have to be a Louisiana state one)
- Provide proper medical forms
- Social Security card
- Proof of insurance on any personal vehicles you own in Louisiana
- Proof of Louisiana residency
Payments
- Pay license fee of $15 cash only
- CDL $61.50
- Endorsements are $7.50 each
