Basics
- Must be at least 18 to apply for an intrastate CDL
- Must be at least 21 to travel out of state
Documents
- Pass Department of Transportation (DOT)

Payments
- Commercial Learner’s permit $10
- 5 years CDL $55 + $2.50 security surcharge
- Endorsement or restriction $10 + $2.50 for change of class
