Trans American is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team and help propel the company forward. Job Summary/Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair various diesel engines and related components
Inspect and troubleshoot truck-trailers, including brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, transmissions, and engines
Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and trailers to ensure they meet safety standards
Identify necessary repairs or adjustments to keep vehicles in top condition
Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools or other specialized equipment.
Requirements
Trans American is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic with the following qualifications:
At least 3 years of truck-trailer mechanic experience (preferred)
Welding experience
Must have their own hand tools
